Getting Started
- How do I set up my AI agent? — Sign up, create a business, add your website URL or upload a PDF, and click Train. Your AI agent will be ready in minutes.
- How do I install the WordPress plugin? — Go to Dashboard → WordPress, copy the embed code, and paste it into your WordPress site. Or install the Ruma AI plugin from the WordPress plugin directory.
- Can I train the AI with my own content? — Yes. You can train with website URLs, PDF documents, plain text, and business hours. The AI learns from everything you provide.
Billing & Plans
- How do I upgrade my plan? — Go to Dashboard → Billing and select a new plan. The upgrade takes effect immediately.
- What happens when I run out of messages? — Your AI agent pauses until the next billing cycle, or you can purchase extra message credits as a top-up add-on.
- Can I cancel anytime? — Yes. See our Cancellation Policy for details.
- Do unused credits carry forward? — For 6-month plans, yes — all credits are pooled for the full period. Monthly plan credits reset each month.
Technical Support
- My AI agent isn't responding — Check that your business is trained (green badge in Dashboard). If the issue persists, email us with your business ID.
- The widget isn't showing on my site — Make sure the embed code is placed before the closing </body> tag. Clear your browser cache and check for JavaScript errors in the console.
- How do I connect my CRM? — Go to your business settings and enter your CRM API key (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho). Conversations will auto-sync.
